Every Youngstars camp is guaranteed to be full of fun, games and excitement whilst introducing aspects of several sports including the following... football, basketball, cricket, lacrosse, hockey, t-ball, tennis, rugby & athletics all within a non-competitive & all inclusive environment. Every game, drill and exercise is designed to improve coordination, awareness, motor skills and above all team work.

All of our Youngstars need a bit of downtime during their time with us; so after snack and lunchtime we will be getting the creative juices flowing with 20/30 minutes of structured and rotated arts and crafts activities.

Our staff

Our coaches are one of the most important aspects of a well run Holiday Camp which is why we take great care during the recruitment process. It’s essential that both parents and children are comfortable with our coaches from the moment they walk through the door right through to home time and the high five on the way out.

Our team is made up of Teachers & full time Early Years sports coaches who possess the character, enthusiasm and experience to deliver a fun but structured Holiday Camp. This is combined with a strong desire to work with and make a difference with our target age group.

Groupings & Ratios

On particularly busy days at camp we can often divide the class into 2 or 3 different age groups. We understand and appreciate how best friends and siblings often like to remain together so please mention this on your booking form & we’ll do our best to keep them together!

We take ratios very seriously and are a key component in a safe and well run Camp, so that’s why we self impose a ratio of 1:6 across all venues.

It is a requirement that all children attending Holiday Camp are toilet trained, we cannot accommodate children undergoing toilet training or those still wearing nappies or pull ups. All children must be able to use the toilet by themselves and wipe themselves after toilet use. This is another fundamental safe guarding issue and due to the nature of a typical camp session, it is vital for the comfort of your child and our staff.

Accidents happen with children and if this is a possibility please ensure your child has a change of clothes and that you disclose this prior to attendance or upon arrival.

However, if it becomes apparent that your child is not toilet trained and has repeatedly soiled or wet themselves you will be made aware of this and future attendance maybe denied until they are toilet trained. A full refund will be provided for any remaining booking dates, however no compensation will be made for losses incurred as a result.

Lunch and Breaks

It’s important to keep our Youngstars fuelled throughout the day so we’ll break at the approximate times:

10/10.30am & 2.30/3pm - Mid Morning break & Afternoon Snack
12/12.30pm - Lunchtime

All Snack & Lunch times are supervised by the coaches who are always on hand to help with packaging, look out for nuts & generally just a chit chat.

Parents are required to provide their children with a healthy snack & something more substantial for lunch. We don’t have access to heating facilities so just a cold pack up will do. Please do not pack any chocolate or sweets!

Food & Drink

  • A healthy and balanced packed lunch
  • Healthy snacks for the break periods
  • We have water available at all sites but please feel free to pack them along with juices etc.

What to Wear and Bring Along

  • Clothing & footwear suitable for active play
  • Jumper/Coat for outdoor play (weather & venue depending)
  • Sun lotion - On good weather days we’ll be utilising any available outdoor space so please can we ask any lotions to be applied by the parent beforehand.
  • Spare change of clothes (If you feel there’s any chance of an accident)

Medical Kits

All medical requirements, such as epipens are to be noted on your booking form and to be mentioned to the venue manager every day that your child attends.
